Aly Dhalla worked his way up at a major bank. When the The Great Recession hit in 2008, he and his industry had to adapt, change, and find new ways to reach and interact with newer and younger clients, and it did so using modern technologies. Around this time, he also left the comfort of the big banks to the dynamic, ever-changing, world of startups and entrepreneurship, but still focused on financial services. So he has learned, first-hand, the ins and outs of the financial industry and tech start-ups. His third company, Finaeo, combines these two worlds by creating what is essentially a digital personal assistant for those in financial services. He joins host Randy Lennon in the Biz 1on1 studio to discuss this journey.
