When Ali Berman moved across the country, she realized that there were very few real world resources for her kids–they were learning about everything online and spending too much time in front of the screen. She thought, “this is not right,” so she founded a business called TeenFest. TeenFest, essentially, is a trade show for kids, but it is much more than that. It’s a place for the community to engage with youth and vice-versa, it’s a chance for companies to interact with their future and current consumers, and, most importantly, it’s an opportunity for kids to gain real-world, face-to-face, knowledge and experience from out behind the screen. Ali Berman joins Randy to chat about TeenFest and the three things teens want to know, but are afraid to ask.
